‘You’re Barr’d’ – 2009 60ft cruiser stern Aqualine Manhattan - lying Barbridge Marina
‘You’re Barr’d’ is a 60’ cruiser stern narrowboat built by Aqualine in 2009 and is a great example of one of their popular Manhattan models. Propulsion is provided by an Isuzu 45hp Diesel engine with PRM150 gearbox. A large cruiser stern with pram cover provides a social deck area.
She is of the traditional layout, entering from the stern takes you into the bedroom with a cross double bed and plenty of storage in the form of floor to ceiling wardrobes as well as overhead cupboards. This room also features a TV. Moving forward, the next room is a spacious off-corridor bathroom with pump-out toilet, inset handbasin, large shower cubicle, storage cupboards and shelving. Moving forward we find a large cross-over kitchen with a generous amount of worktop area as well as bags of storage space with pull-out cupboards maximising every inch. The kitchen features an integrated fridge with freezer box, stainless inset sink, a separate drinking water tap gas oven, grill & 4 burner hob. At the front of the cabin is the saloon with ‘L’ shaped dinette which converts into a double berth, TV & DVD, corner cupboard and Morso Squirrel multi fuel stove. At the bow is the well deck with seating, storage and cratch cover.
As well as the solid fuel stove, central heating is provided by an Alde system.
‘You’re Barr’d’ has recently had a solar panel system fitted, new Victron AGM batteries and a new bedroom carpet. She will comes with an engine service and a brand new BSC.
